E&M Morris was born from a simple, shared conviction: that food should be more than just sustenance. It should have a soul. It should tell the story of the soil it grew in, the journey it took, and the hands that perfected it. We grew tired of a world of mass-produced, anonymous products and set out to rediscover food with character and integrity. This journey is our passion—to create and curate a collection that honours both the ingredient and the artisan.
Our mission is to reconnect discerning palates with the authentic taste of thoughtfully-made food. We seek out flavour that is honest, pure, and memorable. This means championing small-scale producers, celebrating sustainable methods.
For us, quality is not a department; it is a promise that informs every decision we make.
Our approach is twofold. First, we are creators. For our own E&M Morris products, we are intimately involved, transforming world-class ingredients through local craftsmanship. We take Italian olive varietals and press them in the unique terroir of the Western Cape to create award-winning oils. We take South American coffee beans and let our master roasters in Mossel Bay unlock their richest flavours.
Second, we are curators. We know we aren’t the only ones with a passion for quality. We actively seek out local partners, who share our unwavering commitment to natural, ethical, and exceptional products. We only put our name behind goods that we believe in and use in our own homes.
